Get Your Suspension Sorted

Your suspension is the single biggest factor in how your bike handles and how confident you feel riding it. A well-serviced and properly set up suspension makes an average rider feel fast and a fast rider feel untouchable. Neglected suspension does the opposite — harsh, unpredictable, and it wears out everything around it faster.

We offer full suspension servicing across all major fork and shock brands — Showa, KYB, and WP. Whether your suspension just needs fresh oil and seals, or you want a full revalve and spring rate change to match your weight and riding style, we can sort it out.

Fork Service & Rebuild

Forks cop the hardest hits and carry the most critical job — keeping your front end planted and predictable. When fork oil breaks down, seals leak, or bushings wear, everything about your bike's handling suffers.

  • Complete disassembly and inspection
  • New fork seals and dust wipers
  • Bushing inspection and replacement if worn
  • Fresh fork oil to manufacturer spec (or custom weight if revalved)
  • Oil height set to spec
  • Damping cartridge service and bleed
  • Reassembly and function test

We work on all fork types — conventional, USD, open-cartridge, closed-cartridge, spring, and air forks. Showa SFF, KYB SSS, WP XACT, WP XPLOR — whatever your bike has, we've serviced it.

Shock Service & Rebuild

The rear shock handles massive forces every ride. The nitrogen charge, oil, and seals all degrade over time. A tired shock loses its damping, bottoms out easier, and kicks the rear end around unpredictably.

  • Full disassembly and inspection
  • Shaft and body inspection for scoring or damage
  • New seals, O-rings, and bladder if required
  • Fresh shock oil
  • Nitrogen recharge to correct pressure
  • Damping valve inspection and clean
  • Reassembly and function test

Revalving & Custom Setup

Factory suspension is set up for a hypothetical "average" rider — usually around 75–80kg riding motocross at an intermediate level. If you're heavier, lighter, faster, slower, or riding different terrain, the stock valving probably isn't ideal for you.

Revalving changes the internal shim stacks in your forks and shock to alter the damping characteristics. Combined with the correct spring rate for your weight, a properly revalved setup transforms the way your bike feels.

We'll talk you through the process — your weight, riding style, ability level, and the terrain you typically ride. Whether you're a 60kg trail rider who finds the stock setup too harsh, or a 100kg bloke who blows through the stroke on every jump, we'll set it up to work for you.

Spring Rate Setup

Before touching the valving, the first thing to get right is your spring rate. If the springs are too soft or too stiff for your weight, no amount of clicker adjustment or revalving will make the bike feel right.

We'll measure your sag, assess your current spring rates, and recommend the correct setup. We carry a range of fork and shock springs in stock or can source what's needed quickly.

When to Service Your Suspension

Most manufacturers recommend fork and shock service every 30–50 hours for motocross, or every 50–80 hours for trail and enduro riding.

If your forks are leaking oil past the seals, that's an immediate sign they need attention — riding with leaking seals contaminates the oil and accelerates wear on the bushings and cartridge internals.

Even if they're not leaking, suspension oil breaks down with heat and use. If your forks or shock feel harsh, mushy, or inconsistent compared to when they were last serviced — it's time.
